Reiki is hands-on energy healing based on ancient Tibetan healing methods that have been synthesized and simplified. Once the student has been given an attunement the student can then, by simply placing his hands on himself or someone else, channel healing energy where it is needed. "Channel" sounds complicated, but in this case is not. Think of a piece of wire that connects a light bulb to the on/off switch. You flip the switch and the light goes on. The wire does nothing, it "channels" the electricity. Giving Reiki is this simple.

Reiki is easy to learn and even easier to use. Unlike other energy healing and alternate healing modalities, it does not require years of study. A Reiki 1 class comprising attunements and a few hours of tuition are all that is needed. It is a class that the student cannot fail. As we say "You cannot fail Reiki, you can only fail to use it." Once you have been given the attunement to connect to the Reiki energy, and have been told how to use the beneficial Reiki energy, you can only fail if you do not use it. A very simple concept!
